The First “Belt and Road” Meteorological Visiting Scholars begin their one-year research in China
Seven meteorological visiting scholars from the Meteorological Services and scientific research institutions of Ethiopia, Tanzania, Thailand and Seychelles will conduct joint research with the Chinese counterparts and attend training on fields such as climate change, satellite remote sensing, disaster monitoring, meteorology and numerical weather prediction, urban meteorology, and aviation meteorology.
Meteorological warnings have helped evacuate 130 people in Cili, Hunan
In recent days, Hunan province has experienced frequent rainy weather. On March 30, heavy rain battered Cili County, Zhangjiajie, Hunan Province, China. A landslide rock flow broke out in Changtanhe Village, Jinci Street, Cili.

The successful issuance of three tornadoes warnings in Jiangsu Province
On July 20, 2022, it is extremely rare that Jiangsu suffered four tornadoes'attack in a single day. Jiangsu meteorological department analyzed and increased encrypted monitoring, making the successful warning of three tornadoes within 11 to 29 minutes in advance for the safety of life.
